Restaurant Marketing Ideas – Responding to Facebook Comments

Restaurant Marketing Ideas -
Responding to Facebook Comments

This video explains the benefits of responding to comments left on your restaurant's Facebook page...

Here's another short video with a restaurant marketing idea.  And this one is...

Make Sure You Respond to Facebook Comments

Do you keep an eye on your Facebook posts for comments or questions left by users?

As an example, you may post a photo of your special of the day and expect the comments to be of the "that looks delicious" variety. But I regularly see Facebook posts where someone comments "Is this vegan please?" or "will this still be available at the weekend?"

Keeping an eye on comments being left and responding as soon as possible shows that your restaurant is engaged with the community and cares about its customers. It also gives you the chance to answer questions that your customers may have about your food. Clarifying details about whether or not something is vegan, diabetes-friendly, or gluten-free can make the difference between someone making a reservation or heading to your competitor.

Restaurant Marketing Ideas – Showing Behind the Scenes

Restaurant Marketing Ideas - Showing Behind the Scenes

This video shows the benefits of showing your customers 'behind the scenes' in your restaurant...

Here's another short video with a restaurant marketing idea.  And this one is...

Show Us Behind-the-Scenes in your restaurant

By this, I don't mean you should take all your diners on a tour around your kitchen as this is not practical in most cases, but you could certainly do this on social media with photos or a video of your kitchen area.

Everyone loves behind-the-scenes content, and getting an inside look into how your food is made and where it comes from is exceptionally appealing to customers.

On Facebook and other social media, as well as photos or videos of the kitchen itself, you could also consider videos of the chef talking about his culinary inspiration, talking about the local farms they get the ingredients from, or showing how they prepare certain dishes for a dinner service.

Not only is this interesting to see, but it also offers transparency for an area that is usually not seen, as well as build trust and a more personal connection with your customers.

Restaurant Marketing Ideas – Posting Your Specials on Social Media

Restaurant Marketing Ideas -
Posting Your Specials on Social Media

This video explains how to attract more diners to your restaurant by posting your specials on Facebook and your other Social Media...

Here's another short video with a restaurant marketing idea.  And this one is...  Post your specials on Social Media
Do you have menu Specials that change on a regular basis?

If so, then make sure you feature them in Facebook posts and other social media. Depending on how many specials you have and how long they are on the menu for, you could make a post about each one, with a mouth watering photo too.

Also, make sure you leverage the scarcity of it just being available for a short period of time, while they are in season etc, to tempt diners in sooner rather than later.

Aim for the perfect combo of a close up photo of the dish, a tempting description and a mention of the limited availability.
